When do I buy the books?
We know parents like to plan ahead and buy at the beginning of the school year, but we really recommend you wait and buy the books only when your teacher tells you the book is needed. Teachers are good at giving you a couple weeks to find the book. Sometimes a teacher won't get to a required reading book or substitute another one.
Can I buy the books used?
For second through fourth grade, used books are perfectly fine. In fifth grade on up, some teachers require new books because the scholars underline and write in the books. Ask your teacher to make sure.
